Summer Watercolors: Let's go Summer deals!


Our new product samples have just arrived today in our showroom. We will have pictures of some of these bags up on the blog tomorrow for you all to look at.

The new colors in the waxed twill are fantastic; all the new styles will come in black, denim, OD green, red and orange. The orange is not only the hot color of the season, but personally our favorite (though the red is a must have as well). While the black, denim and green are our best selling colors, the red & orange add a lot of excitement to the styles for our fashion forward friends.


The new line will be previewed this weekend June 26th-29th at the Fashion Market Northern California, in San Mateo. This tradeshow highlights the best lines California has to offer and we are really excited to start the fall season in this fashion forward market place.

BOBO is getting ready for Summer!


All of our new product development is leaving our factory this week. We are really excited over here at Bo Bo in getting these new products in front of our accounts and out to market for all of you by Summer ‘10.

All of the changes and improvements will ensure you love your next Bo Bo Bag more than the one you are wearing right now. We should have pictures of everything for you all to look at by the middle part of the month.

We had a really fun warehouse sale about a week ago and it gave us another chance to network with our fans. Next time around, we will get the news out earlier so more of you can put in on your calendars. The feedback again was terrific and we look forward to the continued growth of the Bo Bo brand and as always, we will continue to listen to all of you to ensure you all are a part of the product you all love to wear.

We are continuing to work really hard over here at Bo Bo, getting all of our new and exciting products in to work with our factory overseas.

We are taking 10 of our best selling bags, and improving them after hearing so much feedback from our happy customers. Starting in July all our new bags will be lined in a fashion friendly plaid, adding a lot of interest to the inside of the bags.


We are also adding a lot of customer friendly organization to all the great compartments our bags have, we hear all of you! Thank you for your comments and suggestions.


We are also introducing 6-7 bags that are totally geared for the ladies in a cutting edge material which is a super soft oiled canvas. You all will love the way these bags feel, and they look great too! These bags will be offered in black, silver & a shinny khaki, perfect for the fall & holiday seasons they will be offered in.

Thread Show San Diego 2010


The Thread Show was a real success for us and it gave us the opportunity to interface with the end users. These are the actual consumers who purchase a Bo Bo Bag and proudly wear it home.

We have been in business now for about 10 years, and the experience of actually working and talking with both the men and women who purchase our product was invaluable.

The response to Bo Bo’s new Waxed Twill product was phenomenal and we could clearly see that all of our hard work in design and market study is sending our company in the right direction.

There is an astounding $9 billion in handbags sold annually in the United States, with about $3 billion servicing the extremely fickle and important specialty market that we are working hard to conquer. The specialty retailer and the consumer who shops there (wanting to be different from the mass market) is the market segment we are putting all of our efforts toward.

The trendy fashion forward customer at the Thread Show last month validated that we are doing the right stuff, both servicing the specialty market and the consumers who strive to be unique. There is no hard selling…. The customers are telling us we are right.

The key to being successful at specialty and in fashion is to be special. To offer an alternative to what consumers can find in the mass market, including the department stores.

The demand we are seeing first hand is telling us we are ‘Doing the Right Stuff’ and truly designing bags to “Fit Your Lifestyle”. We will continue to work hard on our end to ensure we stay innovative in both our products and how we reach our customers.
